Local Fitness Centers Face Permanent Shutdown with Looming Mask Mandates

Los Angeles County Health officials said LA County might bring back public indoor mask mandates as soon as the end of July. And, unlike restaurants and other businesses, fitness centers don’t have a safety net. New Governor’s Advisory Council on Physical Fitness and Mental Well-Being Announced

The California Fitness Industry is part of this new council, represented by CFA President, Francesca Schuler. The Advisory Council is led by First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom, who was a Division 1 athlete at Stanford University and a member of the women’s junior national soccer team, and Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductee Ronnie Lott. Click here to read the full article.
